Santa Claus and Lipstickidy :)

We had our Christmas parade last night so me, Nana, and Allie went! Heath had to work but I still wanted her to get to go! She had a lot of fun and screamed and laughed at the fireworks to kick off the parade. We got there a little early and walked over to Krystal's to get some food and then went and sat up our chairs for the parade! We had fun but is was COLD!

So pre-baby days I used to think about how fun it would be to dress my little girl up and take her to see Santa and watch her tell him what she wanted for Christmas and it was such a sweet special day....HAHAHA! My sweet Allie Kate has been to see Santa 3 times now (even though she is only 2) and it has never been special or great...partially because she is terrified of him!

 Her first Christmas she was only 2 mos old so she slept the whole time, last year she had just turned one and she was scared of him and clinged onto me like a spider monkey so I had to be in the picture and she STILL cried, but this year tops them all.....she SCREAMED! She was very excited to see him she screamed "Santa!!!" when she saw him and the little elf even told me that that was the best reaction he had seen yet. We even talked about what she was going to tell Santa to bring her and she told me and Julie (she came this year and last year) that she wanted us to clap for her...but when I walked towards him she flipped out and pulled her spider monkey moves :)

So I was in the picture again this year and she screamed the entire time, and even when we were trying to pay she still screamed because she could see him so Julie had to walk with her! And then bless her heart the whole time we were in the mall after that she would say "Allie Kate not go see Santa later" I think she thought I was going to make her go back and see Santa!!

Brynnen was supposed to be going to see Santa with us but they go there after us and I thought is would not be good to torture Allie anymore by making her stand there in line to see her favorite person :) I wonder how she did??

So we went and shopped around and ate lunch with Ju and rode the carousel and by the way she wore big girl panties to the mall and didn't have an accident!!! YAY Allie Kate!!

 BUT I will say she really does like Santa when he isn't real (the idea of Santa I guess you would say)...In fact she LOVES this Santa :)

On another note...Allie Kate wanted to wear some of my "liptickidy" yesterday after she woke up from her nap...red is really her color :)

So the biggest day in the state (besides Christmas) is the IRON BOWL!!! It is so funny literally every single person you see the week leading up to the game is sporting their team (Our family is no exception)! We went outside today while Heath and Papa put out Christmas lights around our house and it felt great outside!

Then they decided to climb a tree :) She's only 2 but geeez she thinks she is 10!!

Tanner actually told me I had the wrong colors on today haha :) It's so funny how we raise our kids to love one (either AU or Bama) and hate the other!

After playing we came in and had lunch and Allie got a fudge round and literally smashed it right in her face and rubbed it up and down her arms! I think she was trying to show off for Summer and Tanner!!

So we played outside and Allie Kate is taking a nap resting up for the game...we are ready!!! Going into this game Bama is ranked #2 and Auburn is ranked #22. Who will pull out the big win? DUH.....ROLLLLLLLL TIDDDDE! Hopefully going to the Championship game :)



*Ohh and by the way so many people told me it would happen and I still never saw it coming......my sweet angel that I love more than anything in this world is officially and "daddy's girl" :(  It makes me very sad!

Happy Turkey Day!!!!

It's Thanksgiving and I have SO much to be thankful for! We woke up today and got ready and headed to Nan and Pop's to eat with them at about 12:30...Daddy, Pop, and Papa (oh and Allie Kate haha) fried a turkey! Allie Kate just wanted to be outside, and I don't blame her it was so pretty today!

Then we came home for a nap (yeah right) I laid Allie down and then about an hour later she got up because it was very clear she was not going to sleep :) But then about an hour before we were supposed to go down to Nana's house to eat she decided that she would like a nap (well I kind of decided for her :) Who know maybe she is just so excited about the food...or the shopping haha

Well it happened....Allie Kate has been potty training since last Wednesday (and is doing great with close to no accidents and she is even wearing panties in public now) and she finally went poo poo without us having to tell her it was time to go sit on potty!!! Whhhhooooo hoo :) She looked at Heath and said "Allie Kate pooted" and then took off down the hallway to her potty! I love that sweet little booger! I know people have horror stories with potty training but this has been a breeze (and I hope it stays that way) she LOVES her panties and begs to even wear them night night (but I still make her wear a night time diaper at night) but we went to the movies for the first time last night and she wore a pull-up just in case but we just took her potty and she never even tee tee'd in it!!! GOOOOO ALLIE!!

So last night we took Allie to her first movie! We went and ate at Jason's Deli and then went to watch "Puss in boots" with Gran and Papa...needless to say she was not all that entertained! She watched it for about 20 minutes and that was all she could stand to stay still and be quiet :) And the time that she did watch it she literally repeated in a funny voice everything that the little cat in the movie said! It was pretty funny! Maybe we will try again when she is a little bit older!

But it's a good thing I am around to take pictures because I think Heath would just say forget it haha :)

We have had a great Thanksgiving holiday so far!!! Thank you Lord for everything!!!
