McWane your Brain!!

We went to the splash pad yesterday afternoon after we got our sno cone. I normally am not this obsessed with sno cones, to tell you the truth I can't remember before this summer the last time I had one. I think it just sounds so good to pick up and take when we go to the splash pad...not to mention Allie Kate loves them! And I love that we sit on the pavement (her in my lap) and eat our sno cone and watch all the kids play. I know one day I am going to miss this!

It was cloudy so I let Allie play in her clothes since she doesn't normally get really wet anyways

Then it started to rain!

Allie thought it was cool that she was standing in the rain!

I didn't really think through the whole play in your clothes thing...so Allie had to ride home in just a diaper haha...but I made sure she wasn't cold, she had her towel :)

We went to the McWane science center today and I LOVE that place!! I have been many many times (we even have a membership) when I was younger, I also used to take Jake and now I get to take Allie and watch her explore everything (or should I say help her explore because I am right there with her doing everything haha).

Do you know how hard it is to get a wild child to look at you and smile while in motion??

This was her favorite part...there is a bunch of water stuff and it is so funny because there are like 100 kids playing in that water (the stuff they take a bath in every night) like it is something they have never seen before.

I always like going to this place because it is never the same, we took Allie a few months ago and everything changes so it fun to see what is new!

Father's Day and my 25th Bday!!!

June 19th 2011- my birthday and Father's day all rolled up into one :)

We have only been home for a day so we tried to relax as much as possible! I am proud to say that my husband is a wonderful daddy to our sweet girl and deserves all the praise in the world! He is so patient, sweet and caring to her and loves to play with her and love on her! And she loves her "daddy"!!
I have always known that the man I married would have to be a good daddy because it is just so important to me.

We went over to Nan and Pop's to celebrate Father's day...

And then we went over to my mom's house to celebrate Father's day and have a little cake too for my birthday :) Allie Kate really enjoyed the cake :)

For my birthday I got:
2 coach purses (you can tell we just went to the beach with the outlet malls :)
a coach wallet, sunglasses, clothes, and money
My favorite gift that I got was a locket, from my sweet doll (she is just so thoughtful haha).

But my very favorite thing in the WHOLE world...better than any purse or piece of jewelry.....
Is the being a mommy to this sweet girl! I am truly blessed!

BEACH VACAY!!! Whoooo hooo :)

The beach was GREAT! We had a nice relaxing family vacation!
Allie Kate did pretty good on the way down (about a 5 hr drive) so we were kind of worried! We only stopped one time!

Let me start off by saying that I don't really love the sand...and apparently neither does Allie Kate haha. She would hold her feet up when I would try to sit her down and scream her lungs out if I put her in it. So we sat her on a beach towel and she would play with little buckets of water and shovels and towards the end of the week she got a little brave and even touched the sand...with her shovel :)

I love sweet baby feet :)

Allie loved being around all the kid's and is becoming such a little ham...by the time we left she knew everyone there's name (around 20 people) and would constantly say "heyy" to everyone until they gave her their full attention :)

She loved to "rock rock" in these chairs :)

This is Allie with Nana's iphone...she wanted to hear "mutic mutic" to dance to :) She sings the same little song everytime it says "you know it, you know it."

My mom, me and Jake took Allie Kate shopping one day (we only made it to 2 stores haha) and played in the water fountains!

Allie Kate kept getting distracted by this random head haha!

She also tried her first lemon at lunch....and liked it :) Or maybe she liked that we were laughing at her!

We went to big kahuna's water park and played one day (a tradition that I love). Allie Kate loved playing in all the different water stuff there!

She would slide down the slide on her little hiney but she would get stuck so she figured out that if she turned on her belly and put one leg up she would fly down it haha!

We went out to eat for my bday while we were down there and the sunset at the pier behind the restaurant was beautiful!!

Allie had so much fun in the pool! She was jumping off the side of the pool (me holding her hands) and going under not even crying! There is a shelf on the side of the pool that she can walk on that makes it really fun for her...I was very glad she liked it because she doesn't really care for my mom's pool at home!

We went out on the beach the last night we were there and took family pics...a tradition I want to continue every year :)

We had a lot of fun and I was very sad to have to leave knowing it will be a while before the next time I will see Florida (most likely next year). But it made it a little bit better knowing Mexico is just around the corner :)
