ear problems :(

My sweet girl has an ear infection :( I suspected something was up on the way home from Mexico, she was burning up in Atlanta and wouldn't let anybody hold her but me. But I thought it could just be teething and lack of a nap (I was pretty tired and ready to be home too). When we got home she wanted me to hold her constantly and would scream when I laid her down in her own bed ( but she had slept in our bed on vacation so I figured she was just wanting to sleep with us). She kept running a fever and pulling at her little left ear so I got her a Dr appt. And sure enough she has her first ear infection :(

And on a completely different note...allie got a new baby doll ( and named her Emma...I have no clue where she thought that up haha I wanted her to be suzy) and call me crazy but I am a little sad that she wants to do everything with "emma" now instead of sasha!!! I can't help but think of the movie toy story where the little woody doll is so sad because a new toy comes along and he gets left behind...haha on the other hand sasha is pretty ratty looking and people always comment on how "worn and loved" she is so a new doll is nice too :) I think I just get too sentimental about things!
Allie Kate got sasha for xmas last year and it was the first doll she ever even played with and for the last 8 months she has been dragged everywhere with us, sat in the highchair at mealtime with allie, she had to dance with us anytime we danced, Been hugged and kissed constsntly, and recently had to be put night night and allie asked for her first thing when she woke up! I know she will go through so many baby dolls but its still just kinda sad to me...don't get me wrong we can't put her up or anything allie still loves her but "Emma" is currently napping with allie and ate with her today too!
