Tutu and the zoo!

Allie Kate is in LOVE with the idea of anything tutu...she wants to wear them at all moments :) Which I love :) So last night we made her "curly q's" (when I curl her hair with the curling wand which she also loves) and we turned up her music so loud and danced for about 2 hours! I was danced out by the end of the night :) But totally worth seeing my sweet girl happy!

 

  

 

Today we went to the zoo with Candace and Brynnen and had fun but it was very hot and by the end of our trip these two pregnant girls were miserably hot and worn slap out! (Candace is about 32 weeks pregnant and I am about 27 weeks pregnant).

One of my mom's friends came over to our house wanting me to fix her hair for a dance on Saturday and I curled her hair and left the curling wand out to cool off and when Allie Kate woke up from her nap she HAD to have her hair done (I would rather not mess with her sweet little hair because I don't want to damage it since its so healthy)...

This is after Allie Kate had her hair curled for the first time ever...she loved it and kept playing with it and looking at herself in the mirror...at first she said "I look funny...I look like Nana"

Bless her heart she tried SO hard to get that ball all the way up to the end and finally gave up after about 3 minutes!

Allie Kate's first dentist appointment :)

I have been wanting to take Allie Kate to get her teeth cleaned for a while now but worried that she would freak out or cry and it would traumatize her! We were at a birthday party and she was playing and talking to malea (my coworker/friend from hygiene school) and I asked her if she would let malea clean her teeth soon and surprisingly she said yes! So I took her up to my work (which she thought was the coolest thing ever that she got to go to mommy's work) to get her teeth cleaned :)

Her first dentist appt was on Thursday 8/23/2012 :)

She did great! She was a little nervous at first and I sat in the chair with her but she did perfect! She opened wide and let malea polish her sweet little teeth :) then she let Dr. Weese check her teeth for cavity bugs...I was in complete shock that she actually let a man look in her mouth and didn't scream! After she was done she got to pick a prize from the treasure chest and got a new toothbrush and we were on our way. I was so proud of my sweet big girl :)

Afterwards we went to eat mexican for lunch and got our toes done :)

And later when we got home Allie Kate thought SHE was the dental hygienist (word of advice pick another profession sweet girl :)

Zoo Day :)

We took Allie Kate to the zoo today for the first time in a while! Since it has been SO hot outside this summer we have stayed away from the zoo...but it was decent temperatures today so we decided to take her (not to mention she has been really wanting to go lately).

She had so much fun and so did me and Heath :) I think he may have been more excited to see some of the animals than Allie! We went to feed the birds....

And heath was holding the nectar and everything was going good until...

a crazy bird bit his ear :) And I just happened to take a picture right as it happened... I have not laughed this hard in a LONG time! I know the zoo worker thought we were crazy because I was literally crying I was laughing so hard!

We had a fun family day at the zoo :) I'm ready for fall weather because I am sure we will be there every week (at least until baby Ava Grace is born)!!!

Kids say the craziest things :)

My sweet girl hasn't been as sweet as normal in the past few weeks (please be the teething and not a permanent thing) don't get me wrong she can be the sweetest little angel until she's not haha! She has been so funny this morning and today...we were unloading and loading the dishwasher after SHE cooked herself eggs this morning (yes there was no typo she cooks her own eggs...and it is pretty darn funny to watch...and yes I help her so she is in no danger!) and she wanted to help with the "winn dixie" (windex) and so we windexed and windexed and windexed!!! Literally we windexed the coutertops, dishwasher, oven, stove, kitchen table, 2 glass end tables, end table by the recliner, pottys, shower door....I ran out of things for her to windex! I love that my girl loves to help :) When I asked her if she would spray it on a certain place she would say so sweetly "I surely will momma" :)

We got a shower after our morning cleaning session and headed to chic fila for lunch (I wasn't about to mess up my clean kitchen). While we were there Allie Kate spotted the old lady that helps clear tables off and greets everyone and immediately started hollering "Bettttty" she had met her last time we were there and just loves her! Mrs. Betty told her she sure was pretty and Allie Kate responded "You sure are pretty too Mrs. Betty with your lipstick on and your hair done" Such a goof! Then later traded her prize for an ice cream cone and was convinced Mrs. Betty took a bite out of her cone haha!

She also told me (very loudly...I don't know where she gets that from :) "that boy over there is staring at my booty crack" when I asked her who she pointed to an old man sitting across from us...sometimes I am scared what will come out of her sweet mouth :) When we got home she told copper (my moms dog that is staying at our house while they are at the beach) that she was "annoying" because she kept getting in the way when Allie Kate was trying to give our dog Sally a hotdog weenie! I love my silly girl!

Later we went drove to Moody to see Aunt Ju and Chad and eat dinner with them...

So Allie apparently hadn't gotten her windex cleaning fix for the day and she convinced Julie to give her the windex and let her clean her house :)

Allie Kate loves rings and diamonds and was asking me "are those your wedding rings?" and so we talked about getting married and then I asked her if she was going to get married one day and she said yes and I asked who she was going to marry and she replied "Probably Julie or Marry Christmas" haha get it Merry Christmas? She is so fun :)



Sunday family picnic

So today after church we went for a picnic at the park just our little family of 3 :) Last night I made us a picnic lunch to take and as soon as church and Sunday school were over we ran home and changed and went to play!! Allie Kate was so excited she kept telling her Sunday school teacher about it when we dropped her off this morning :)

All of the slides and anything else out in the sun were SOO hot that she couldn't even touch it so she stuck to the swings and the sand box :)

I told her it was time to leave and go take a nap and she crawled up on the picnic table and said she was going to sleep :) Silly Silly girl :)
