same old stuff

Wednesday we finally had dance again (we have been out for spring break) and Heath actually got to take Allie Kate to dance for the first time and she was so excited (and so was he :)

She wanted a picture of the back of her hair :)

She HAD to wear mascara...pretty baby

Me and Ava headed out to take a few things back to a boutique all the way down on 280 (UGH! I do NOT like 280!) and Candace went with us! And I realized when I got home after driving 45 minutes to take this stuff back for different sizes, I returned a shirt and bought the matching shorts forgetting I returned the shirt....I have no brain!

As soon as I got back I dropped Ava off with Heath and went up to the dance studio to get Allie Kate's dance pictures! They turned out pretty good! I will post the rest later...

Today we woke up and started the Easter egg process...we boiled the eggs, and dyed them and sat them out to dry and in the mean time we headed out back down 280 to return the bloomers I bought that didn't match anything and to have lunch with Aunt Ju and play

She has gotten so goofy with her faces...I have to really beg for just a regular smile!

We decided since it was pretty we would skip nap time and head to the park :)

Then Allie Kate drove us home :)

And it was time to decorate our Easter eggs! My sweet girl is so OCD about what stickers could go on each egg :) And I love her for it because I am the exact same way...you just don't mix Ariel with Jasmine!

If these eggs make it to Easter I will be SHOCKED :)

Ava Grace is 4 months old!!!

My sweetest pie is 4 months old today!!! 

Sweet baby Ava Grace,

You are the cutest, snuggliest, sweetest little bundle of love EVER! You are a very happy baby and I love that I can literally look at you and smile or say one word and you are smiling a beautiful gummy smile at me :)

You talk and holler constantly! You are grabbing things and you are OBSESSED with your hands and they are ALWAYS in your mouth! You are very slobbery...you really need to wear a bib all day probably! 

You love your sister (she isn't as sweet to you as I would like her to be...but that's ok I know when you get a little bigger you will give her a run for her money). Your favorite toy is your little rattly purse and you rattle it like crazy and shove it in your mouth. you are in size 3 months clothes but you are growing out of 3 mos sleepers in length (I don't know your exact weight and length yet, we go to the doctor next week)

Sleep: You do really good with going to sleep...it's the staying asleep during naps that is getting us! You will go down for a nap like a pro but will only sleep for about 45 minutes at a time. I am much more lenient with you going to sleep than I was with your sister, I still rock you and get you to sleep sometimes but sometimes I just lay you down (you do great either way!). You take a lot of short naps throughout the day, I have kind of given up on the two long naps a day! You go to bed around 7:30-7:45pm and wake up around 4-4:45am wanting to eat and get in the bed with me...then Allie wakes me and you both up for the day around 7:30am most days!

If I had to guess how much you weighed I would guess around 14 pounds...little chunky monkey :)

You have not rolled over...but lets face it...I never put you down long enough for that to happen (same as with your big sis)...you HATE laying on your stomach so I don't make you do it much! You do not like to sit back anymore, if we are sitting in the chair you are sitting up :)

Pretty much you are just perfect :) I am guessing you are about to be put on cereal when we go back to the doctor. You have a hard time going to the bathroom sometimes and so sometimes we have to give you lactulose and you gag! 

Not trying to brag or anything but you love me the most :) And I LOVE that! I love how sweet and innocent you are and the fact that I can love all over you and you just sit there! You laugh a lot more now too :)

I love you my little doll and I have loved the past four months getting to love and take care of you :)

I'm all over the place!

Monday we had a rest day and since it was freezing outside (literally) we stayed inside and in our jammies ALL day long! You know it's a good day when you take a shower and get right back in your jammies! Allie Kate has a new saying right now...I told her something and she replied "Ok hottie hottie" my oh my what in the world am I going to do with her?

So back to Monday....really unorganized, I know!

Me and Allie made a tent in her room during Ava Grace's nap and she thought it was the coolest thing ever! 

Crazy girl!

I asked Allie to clean up all the toys she had drug out before we went and played and she just piled everything up on her sisters play mat :) funny girl

Ava Grace woke up and enjoyed the tent with us :) We were all 3 in the tent happily for about 2 minutes (or less) until Allie Kate got mad and kicked Ava...she is so jealous right now!

My sweet girl didn't really act like she felt good all day :( All she wanted to do was eat and sleep and her little nose sounded a little stuffy...hopefully she will get to feeling better!

Last night when we were praying before bedtime she prayed "watch over my momma and her names momma" and rubbed my face and said "because she's my little baby" and reached up and hugged me :) and then said "because I love her"....see for all the craziness that comes out of her, she can be the sweetest angel too :) And that makes the moments that I want to rip my hair out all better!!

Back to Sunday haha....

After church Sunday we went to Sophia's birthday...this little doodad slept most of the time even though there were like 15 screaming kids!

Friday nights Allie Kate knows that she can sleep in our bed since Daddy doesn't have to work the next day and we don't have church the next day. So we were 4 deep in our queen size bed by about 1am when Ava Grace joined the party :) It started storming and our power went out around 4am and both girls were WIDE awake! We tried to get them both to sleep but I guess they thought it was time to party! Allie Kate was so hyper and driving us nuts! She was singing "I don't wanna go to bed so early, I don't wanna go to bed right now...oh gosh oh geez can I watch tv?" from her dance class and when Heath went to the bathroom she could hear him using the potty and said "Listen to the rain mommy" and she told Heath "Pay attention to your child" when Ava was crying and said "Ava's telling you to go get on the couch daddy" when she was fussing :) She is such a funny little girl!

Morning glory :) We finally got the girls back to sleep at 6am! 

As soon as we woke up we had to start getting ready to take the girls to see the Easter bunny!

Allie Kate had told me while we were getting ready that she was going to get her ears pierced (She has faked me out several times even once getting me in the chair filling out the information form only to chicken out) and I just went along with it not really thinking for a minute she might actually do it.....well she did! She kept asking as soon as we got to the mall when we could go get her ears pierced so after we saw the Easter bunny we headed to claires :)

Heath was watching her face the whole time the lady was piercing her ears and he said she didn't even act like they had done anything...she didn't even blink! Tough girl like her momma...I pierced my 2nd hole myself in my bathroom when I was 14 only to have my mom make me take them out a few days later (what a waste!)

This sweet girl was absolutely WONDERFUL the entire trip to the mall! She was so happy and hollering out talking to everyone :) I just LOVE her more and more everyday!

We came home and dropped Ava and Daddy off and I didn't even get Allie out of the car we headed straight to our buddy Addy's birthday party!

Allie Kate literally told every single person there about her new earrings :) She was so proud!

Fun times :) We had to go to Walmart to pick up a present for another birthday party we have to go to tomorrow and Allie had a break down she was EXHAUSTED! My girl is definitely not ready to give up her naps yet :) But then again I wanted to lay down in the floor and cry too since we were up at 4am and had a long day :) I guess she gets a pass today :)
