10 months old!

10 months! That blows my mind! 

New things this month:

You are pulling up on to EVERYTHING! It's your new favorite thing to do :)

You have even let go and stood for a couple of seconds a few different times!

You LOVE table food and I have to force baby food and then I let you have the good stuff :)

You have 2 teeth and they are SHARP!

You like to "give kisses" to mommy...not so much Daddy yet!

You wave and say "Hi" or "bye" to anyone you see...you LOVE to wave!

You love animals and are not scared the least bit of any of them...which scares me!

You dance when music is on...or when I sing!!!

You played peek a boo for the first time! We were on our way to the beach and Allie covered herself with her pink blanket and hid and then played peek a boo and you got your blanket and held it up over your head and then took it down and screamed laughing...Daddy about ran off the road trying to watch you :)

You still wear a size 3 diaper and we just got you some new shoes for the fall and had your foot measured and it looks like you are going to follow in your sister's footsteps and have tiny feet and hands...you were a size 2 :)

6-12 mos on clothes depending on where it's from

Not talking quite as much lately but you still say "mama," "dada," "bye bye," and "bite."

If I ask you to "give Mommy love" you lay your sweet head on me :)

Your sister builds tents ALL the time and you get in them with her and think it's so funny

Still not a great nap taker...two naps a day for 30-60 min and it is a fight lately to get you to go to sleep!

Wonderful sleeper at bedtime! Bedtime is 7:30 and you sleep until about 6ish, take a bottle and go back to sleep until 7:45-8am :)

You are very clingy to me lately...which I LOVE for the most part! If I walk out of the room you fuss and then follow right behind me :)

You love: mashed potatoes, bread, puffs, noodles, poptarts (I know I know...best mom of the year award) and pretty much anything in small bites!

I'm dying at the cuteness :) Looks like you have been watching your sister pose for pictures!

You had a wonderful vacation at the beach, despite being sick the entire time you were still a joy :) You did not care too much for the sand (which is funny because your sister HATED it)

You are such a sweet girl and so happy to be around! People are always telling me how good you are :)

Weekly fun

We have had a good week since getting home from the beach :)

Sunday we went to see Aunt Ju's new house! They moved while we were at the beach!

Monday started back school for Allie Kate and she did the best she has ever done going in! I let her put her pink blanket in her back pack (which stays in the hallway) and for some reason that helped so much! Even though it was hanging in the hallway! 

She went to school Mon, Tues, Thurs this week because it was Johnny Appleseed week and he came to her school on Thursday. So Wednesday we went to Aunt Ju's house for breakfast in her new house! We made bacon, eggs, home made biscuit and gravy :)

Wednesday night she went to choir and her teacher said she was a "drama queen" because she acted all sad when I dropped her off but she said like 2 seconds after I'm gone she has the best time...which made me glad :)

Thursday Allie had school and her teacher told me she "loved meeting Johnny Appleseed" when I asked her about him she kept trying to convince me he was a girl...so I'm not sure about all that!

We went to the park to play because it felt wonderful out!

She was so proud that she could climb this by herself!

Ava even slid!

Saturday we went to Jake's football game, Allie stayed home with Papa because she didn't feel good :(

We went to watch the Bama game with friends Saturday night and Allie Kate had so much fun! On the way home she asked me if she had eaten dinner and I said "kind of" and she said "well, I'm still hungry. I had too much fun to eat!" Bless her little heart :)

Beach trip...entirely too many pictures!

We had a fabulous time at the beach this time...it was SO much better than last time (just because of the age difference for Ava) :) She was (and still is) sick the entire time we were there and she hit the beach like a pro :) both girls were wonderful! Allie Kate had the time of her life playing in the sand and the water! She told me this morning as we were waking up to come home "I had the best time in vacation with you momma" :) It's the little things that make my heart so happy!

We left around 9 headed down to the beach so we could get down there and watch the Bama vs Texas a&m game (during football season our schedule revolves around Alabama's schedule...sad but true) and we made it just in time for the game. After the game we took Allie over to see the beach since she was chomping at the bit to go :)

The first couple of nights down there were Rough (with a capital "r") because Ava was sick and couldn't breath and was literally up every hour :( Thank God for coffee...no really I'm thanking Him for that wonderful bean he created! 

The first day on the beach was the best the water was amazing! No seaweed, very calm waves, the sand bar was about an inch or two deep...it was perfect for kids and even babies :) 

Allie Kate met a friend and I thought she might come home with us! I kept asking her where her mommy and Daddy were because she had been playing with us for a long time and she said she didn't know...they were a little bit down the beach and she finally saw them :)

We stayed on the beach every day, of course with little trips to the pool :) I would lay Ava down for her nap in her pack and play and Heath would take Allie  down to the beach and I would put sunscreen on and fix lunch and get Ava ready and walk over to the beach and meet up...good little system we had going :)

Okay, so every time we go in target Allie Kate finds this bathing suit and BEGS me for it...well we went to target to get baby food while we were down there and I let her BEG her Daddy and it took a little persuasion (she even dis-invited him to her birthday party) but she walked away with her beloved bathing suit...and one for her sister too! haha!

We went to Panama City one night to eat at Angelo's (yes, we drove an hour with two kids to eat a steak at the beach...not my idea :)  And afterwards planned on taking Allie to the rides at pier park but by the time we got there they were closing :(  so we got ice cream instead!

She thought this was the funniest thing! She said "look mommy it has a hangy hiney" I about DIED!

The next night we went to the track so Allie could ride some rides since it almost broke her heart the night before and she had a great time! She said the go-carts were her favorite :)

Ava rode the swings too (actually before Allie) but we left the camera in the car and by the time Heath got back with it she had bumped her mouth on the swing and wanted out :(

Our last day at the beach we went shopping...after being on the beach every day we were a little beached out! I know hard to believe but me and Heath were kinda burnt and both girls were worn out and Ava still sick so we thought "lets go out in the scorching sun and walk around, that'll be fun" haha!

Allie played on the playground and in the fountains and we went in a few stores and got ice cream so it worked out :)

A certain sweet baby has discovered table food...and boy does she love it! We went to Krispy cream and I gave her a few bites of a doughnut and she was in heaven...and it all went down hill from there! After that she thought she only needed real food and was entitled to anything mommy was eating! We had a really hard time getting her to eat her baby food...she gagged and cried when I forced her to :( she is eating her baby food again now, she's still not crazy about it, and I am still giving her some table food too just after she eats her baby food! 

We had LOTS of good food :)

We went to "the back porch" and it was SO good! My favorite meal of the trip!

And Allie Kate thought it was so cool that we could go play on the beach at night after we ate :)

Heath had the best time messing her hair up the whole time we were there...he is so anti brush and anti bows, I don't know how we are married :)

We went to Dewey Destin's, a favorite of ours!

I love these girls more than anything :)

Can't wait to go back :)
