Turkey Day 2013

We woke up to a surprise! We have a new family member (at least for the next month!) Millie the Elf came to visit!! Allie Kate was so excited and she kept asking if Santa had brought her!

We had a pretty relaxing Thanksgiving this year. It wasn't wild like it seems to have been in the past...which is a good thing! 

We hung out at home all day and then went to Nan and Pop's around 4pm and saw them and headed to My mom's at 5:30pm for dinner :)

That silly Millie decorated Allie Kate's "Jewelry" with her panties...she of course loved it :)

Happy Birthday to Ava Grace :)

Happy Birthday to my babidy! I cannot believe she is ONE!!! Ava decided she wanted to sleep in on her birthday so me and Allie Kate woke her up at 8:50am by singing "Happy Birthday" to her! Allie was excited to sing to her (I know, shocking right?) and even took her balloons in her room to her :)

Now that's what you call bed head :) 

I attempted to make Ava a special breakfast of home made french toast and I ended up miserably failing and had to throw it away....so frozen waffle it was :)

We played and sang Happy Birthday to sweet Ava A LOT!

Allie Kate had dance so we were on our way out the door and I ran into the garage door :( I about cried! Allie Kate kept coming up to me rubbing my face saying "We're gonna be ok mommy" :)

so she pranced around in her tutu for the rest of the afternoon

We took her to Niki's for dinner (same place we took Allie Kate on her first bday) because it's got all sorts of food that she can eat....and it's delicious :) Ava didn't disappoint, she ate a lot!

When we got home she got her presents from her Grandparents!

I made Ava a pink cake with sprinkles for her Birthday (I made Allie Kate a Chocolate cake for her first bday) and we lit it up with candles and sang Happy Birthday a few times :)
