Santa pics

The kids were so excited to see Santa (even Hudson was ecstatic)! Ava was a little nervous when we first sat her in Santa's lap but she never cried she just looked terrified. We brought out the rocking horse and she was ready to go...no more nerves :)

What might she be telling him she wants this year? A baby pink butterfly of course ;)

Ava's birthday

On Ava's birthday I wanted to do something fun with the girls so we had breakfast pancakes and went to build a bear and lunch at zoes :)

She has sung "Happy Birthday" to herself (and every other member of our family) probably 100 times!

We had a bonfire the night before (hence the fire pit in the background)

Allie Kate was so excited to go to build a bear...girl LOVES stuffed animals!

Later that night we went to Stix to celebrate :)

We had a good day and Ava had a great 2nd birthday :) Happy Birthday my sweet babydoll!

Busy Vaughn's

We have been here, there and everywhere...warning this post is RANDOM!

For the girls birthday we decided to get them a big swing set for our backyard! They LOVE it and have had such a good time playing on it!

Allie Kate had a pretend sleepover party for a friends birthday...

After the party was over she begged for her best friend from school to come and spend the night at our house so she did :)

They were so funny! Allie and Ava share a room so it was pretty wild in there! Ava was jumping in her crib and laughing and squealing :) I heard Allie Kate whisper something to Finley and I asked her what she said and she told her "I have the best mommy in the whole world." They finally went to sleep around 11pm.

We got a real tree this year and we went as a family and picked it out...

It was so hard to pick one out...but Allie Kate had an opinion on each and everyone so she helped us out! We had the tree delivered and we were ready to decorate and had a change of heart about the lights (once they were already all put on).

We took the girls to Disney on ice...

They loved it! I worried Ava wouldn't sit still but she was in a trance until the last 5 minutes of the show so she did great! At the very end she started talking to everyone around us...it was pretty funny she stood up in her chair and would say "Hey man...hey boy...hey girl"
