We had 3 birthday parties this weekend...Addie's on Saturday and then Sophia's and Aunt Wendy's today...we are partied out! Allie Kate LOVES birthday parties :)

Today we went to Addie's birthday party :) She is one of Allie Kate's besties and Allie was SO excited to go to build a bear!

Everything is so much more fun when you're with your friends :)

After build a bear we went to the food court and had cake and Addie opened her presents...and the girls rode the carousel!

So there's a baby in there...it's confirmed ;) and I just realized I'm 16 weeks pregnant and haven't even really said anything about it! Shame on me! 

This was a wonderful surprise blessing :) I had a hard time getting pregnant with sweet Ava and assumed (along with my doc) I would have to take medication to conceive again. The Lord had other plans! I started smelling things like crazy and for some odd reason decided I would take a pregnancy test...it came back positive and me and Heath were convinced it was because it was a cheap dollar store test (we knew better). So we spent about $80 in pregnancy test (overkill much?) and all were positive! We wanted to wait a while to tell our families, it just seemed unreal and we didn't want to jump the gun. Well I have no privacy AT ALL...and during my pregnancy test taking Allie Kate happened upon a test and I told her it had tee tee on it to put it down...that raised all sorts of questions so against my better judgement I explained. Well she was SO excited (which shocked me and Heath since she isn't wild about the sister she already has) and she tok it upon herself to inform our families...I brushed it off and she proceeded to explain a pregnancy test "if it has one line it means no baby and if it has two lines then it means there's a baby in your tummy...and it had two so mommy has a baby in her belly...she just doesn't want you to know, she's tricking you because it's a secret."  There was no talking my way out of the one! 

I've been a little wimpier this pregnancy...more nauseous (earlier on) and like a zombie! Besides when I don't feel good I actually forget I am pregnant...I guess its the wild sisters keeping me distracted? But I'm very thankful for this pregnancy and baby :) We find out if it'll be a brother or sister in a couple of weeks!!! That's when it gets real :)

This is the blog that never ends....

I'm back :) I have been in a blogging funk...just can't seem to make myself get with it! Maybe it was the first trimester, being busy with my two little hoodrats, or just pure laziness? Either way I'm going to do better! So this is just a huge random catch up post of our past month and a half :)

It has snowed...A LOT this winter (and by a lot I mean twice...but this is Alabama and anything over 1 inch is a HUGE deal and we had it TWICE!).

The first time it snowed it was CRAZY! It literally shut down everything around town and it happened on the day of my first OB visit (needless to say I didn't get to go) and it took me 2 hours to get Allie Kate and her friend Maci from school and home (a round trip of probably 4 miles). Heath was stuck at work 3days...he spent the night at work 2 nights in a row! 

We had to sneak outside while sissy was asleep for her nap and it was so miserable cold outside we weren't out long...and Allie and Ava were just over being sick (ava had double ear infection)

the second snow was much more pleasant! It was the beautiful snow that looks amazing, fun to play in, and then melts soon after and doesn't cause road problems :)

It started snowing around 7:30pm so we pushed back bedtime and had a little snow fun :)

The next day Allie Kate finally got to build her snowman...

Confession...I was tired and Nana rode the 4 wheeler to our house and helped her...

She loves the snow :)

We had Valentines parties :) Allie Kate was so excited for Valentines day this year...sweet girl! She picked her little valentines for her class (M&M cookies) and even wrote her name on all 20 bags :) We were both so proud of her!

Momma got flower too...and chapstick (he knows the way to my heart haha!)

Valentines night we cooked and had a candle light dinner as a family and Allie thought that was the coolest thing ever and we have since had like 5!

We went to a roller skating party...Allie has been begging me to take her skating constantly and she finally got to go! She had a great time!

We have had playdates galore...

Allie Kate has had the throw up virus, both girls had the fever virus (Ava only for 4 days Allie Kate for 7 days!), ear infections, and I now have strep (so the Doc says)...

Allie and Heath went on a Daddy Daughter date night :)

Heath said she had the best time! they sat with Addie and her dad and she even got a trophy at the end of the night :)

We have been outside as much as possible lately since it is finally starting to get nice outside! Parks, zoo...you name it :)

So Ava Grace does NOT like for her sister to cry or get in trouble...I took Allie Kate's blanket away in the car (yeah...I'm brutal) and Allie Kate cried and then Ava set in and boo-hoo'd with her sister :)

I am also pleased to say Allie Kate is being nicer to her sister lately...still not just wild about her but she is better :)

WHEW...what a catch up story...and I feel like I have left out so much...I MUST do better!!!
