Huddy buddy is 6 months old!!!

So I missed the 5 month update...terrible busy mom here! I had every intention of posting it and life got away with me!

My handsome little chunk,

              

                        STOP growing! you are getting so big on me and my heart can't take it! You have gotten such a personality and just smile and babble all the time :) You LOVE me...oh you love me so much and if I'm in sight and someone else is holding you it's not pretty! Your little chin starts to quiver and you look at me so pitiful and whine....and I LOVE it :) You can sit up now, I still have to be near because at any time you may fall to the side or backwards but you're doing awesome :) You are about 15.5 pounds (we will know exacts in a few days when you have your 6 month check up) still wearing a size 2 diaper (may need to up to a 3 in the near future?). You have grown a lot in the past month or so...sometimes you look huge to me! Still in 6 months clothes and sleepers but we are planning a shopping trip to get you some 9 months sleepers because it's about time to move up :) You are the sweetest little thing that I ever did see and you love to snuggle pull mommy and sissy's hair! You LOVE your sisters...LOVE them! Ava talks and plays with you the most and you absolutely attack her anytime she is close enough...and she loves it (she even shares passys with you...which makes it fun when everyone gets sick!). Still no teeth for you little man but I think they are coming soon...you have been biting and chewing on everything. You are good with your little hands picking things up (and then shoving them into your mouth!). We started baby food this month! You won't eat anything but fruits...bananas, apples, mixed fruit and berries. We gave you sweet potatoes once and you coughed and tried to spit it out after every bite. Your sister also loves your baby food and insists that you share a few bites with her every time you are fed :) "Ava Gace bite...very nummy." We also just stopped breastfeeding a few days ago...you have done wonderful and take a bottle perfectly...sad but you still love me so we are good :) You are a good sleeper for the most part. You still take 2 naps a day (about 1.5-2.5 hours) and bedtime is 7:30-8pm. You are still waking up about once a night to eat around 2-3am. You take about 5 ounces in your bottle (we are doing breastmilk and formula...until the frozen stash runs out and then you will be on straight formula). You are the sweetest baby boy around and I love you more than words :) I;m so happy and proud to be your momma and get to take care of you and watch you grow!!!

Swim lessons

Yes we are attempting swim lessons again this year...Allie Kate took them at 3 years old and it was AWFUL (and that's an understatement). So now that she is older we decided to give it another try :)

She was a little nervous (and still is the day before and if you ask her if she wants to go to swim class she says "NO") but once she get there she does so good! And if you compare it to last time she is a dang "Micheal Phelps" in the water ;) She even puts her face in the water, and also practices at home in the bathtub!

Not to mention the sauna is pretty cool for warming up afterwards ;)

Finley is also in her class and that helps a TON!

We still have a long ways to go but she is doing good and I will take it :)

Snow 2015

We waited and waited and WAITED on the snow...all day my sweet girl had been BEGGING me to let her go play in the snow (the snow that had not fallen at all) and I was pretty sure it was just our weathermen wrong again. 

At about 8pm we started getting jammies on and teeth brushed and I laid Hudson down and Heath came running in all excited that it was actually SNOWING!!! So we threw on some winter gear (I have decided the girls need better "winter gear" hah) and went out for a while to play in the snow!

This girl LOVED it and literally cried when we had to come in and go to bed (and she isn't a huge crier).

Ava about froze to death because she kept grabbing snow and eating it, which made her gloves soaking wet...like I said next year we will be better prepared in the winter clothing department ;)

The next day Heath had to work and all our snow was melting so we went up to Julie's house for some snow fun :)

Hudson slept and we played out in the snow for a while and had SO much fun sledding down Julie's cliff hill in her backyard! It was great!

Valentines Day

Allie Kate had her school Valentines day party....

 She loves getting dressed up and her hair done for all her little school stuff :)

Me and Heath definitely don't go overboard on Valentines day...I mean once you have been together for so long flowers and candy do the trick ;) We try not to go overboard with our kids too! Heath buys me and the girls roses and that is probably their favorite part! We also don't go out on Valentines day either (we normally do go out a few weeks later for dinner) so this year we had a candle light dinner as a family (sounds fancy but trust me with 3 littles we don't have the time, energy, or money for fancy haha!). The girls get dressed up and Heath grills and we just eat together as a family (same as usual just throw a few candles in the mix and it becomes SUPER special to my kids! Haha!)
