4th of July :)

It's a family tradition to hit the lake for the 4th of July but since we had been gone to the beach and just moved in our new house we decided to just drice up for the day :) The kids had such a good time and did awesome! I admit I am not a lake girl at all...never have been. BUT I want my kids to grow up loving it and having great memories out on the boat and inner-tubing (so I will pretend that the water doesn't freak me out and I'm not scared a snake could swim up at any moment ;)

Huddy had a great time at the lake and didn't even mind the water was kind of cold...in fact he didn't mind at all...he passed out on a float!

the girls had a great time with their cousins playing and shooting fireworks :)

And we had a very quiet car ride home! They were all exausted from playing and swimming :)

Father's Day :)

Father's day fell the day after we got home from our big family beach trip this year so we decided to have a relaxing day (if that even is such a thing these days haha!) and we went swimming and hung out down at Nana's and cooked out :)

Later that afternoon we went to Nan and Pop's and saw them and Gran and Papa! I am SO very thankful for the wonderful men in my childrens lives...I LOVE that they have great men to look up to an an example and just feel very blessed to have them :)
