Fingernail fun...Party time!

Our sweet little friend Maci had her 5th Birthday party at the nail salon and it was SO cute! Very calm, stress free, and the girls had so much fun too....

The only problem was they didn't want to leave!!! They literally ran and hid under the table :)

Allie Kate's first sleepover :)

Allie Kate has been OBSESSED with the idea of a sleepover...she plans one with her little friends at least once a week ;)

Well we went out to eat with Maci and Ami to Stix and they came back to our house to play and the girls decided it was time for a sleepover :) They BEGGED :) Plus it was already 10pm and neither had taken a nap that day so it was win/win they were exhausted! They went to bed great and I heard Allie telling Maci on the monitor "It'll be okay Maci, I'm right here, don't be scared" so I went in and Maci told me she was scared...I thought Oh Lord she's gonna want to go home now, she misses her momma. But then she informed me that she was scared of  "a bird...a big blue bird...the one with all the feathers," and then I knew...so I asked Allie Kate if she had told her about peacocks "yep, I showed her a picture" :)  Allie Kate has been freaked out by peacocks since she was around 2 years old so I guess she found it necessary to scare Maci too. So I laid down on the end of the bed and we all prayed together (sweetest thing ever) and they were asleep within 5 minutes :)

The next morning we heard them laughing and talking when they woke up :) And it was time to get ready for church!
they laid on the couch and watched cartoons for a while :)

Ready for church :)

Fun days...

While Allie was out of school and after the craziness of the holidays we wanted to have a little fun before school started back.... So me and Candace took the girls to Chuck E Cheese

Pizza with way too much cheese is the best :)

Later we went to Addie's house to see her new puppy...and because her and Allie Kate are slightly obsessed with each other!

I'm sure this new year has lots in store for us :)

New years eve "Vaughn-fire"

So I guess this is becoming a tradition to have a bonfire and shoot fireworks with the kiddos on New years eve! Last year we had Heaths parents, Candace, Jake and their girls. This year we added Julie, Chad, and little Olivia :)

I made a baked pasta and green bean casserole (random I know but I like random foods) of course Heath had to work so I was running around like a mad woman trying to keep our house clean, cook, and keep my kids alive and happy. Well I failed in the happy department (but dinner was good haha)...
Allie was NOT happy after her nap and literally followed me around the house crying for no reason. But then everyone started getting here and she was happy and excited about fireworks!

Brynn was not a fan of the fireworks...or the fire haha
But she did have a good time opening presents :)

Ava LOVED smores! She had the best time! She loved the fireworks and the fire and the people...she had a blast!

I love this girl :)

At one point Ava had her toboggan completely over her eyes and was eating her smore and was happy as could be!

Sweet baby :)

Not happy about her marshmallow on fire

Little snowbunny Libby

This girl is WALKING! She is taking 15-20 steps and very often now :) (about 13.5 months...same as her sissy)

Looking forward to 2014 with these two beauties and another little surprise....
But shhhh...it's a secret...more on that later :)
