Olah!!!! Our Mexico trip :)

We had a great time in Mexico!!! Me and heath got married there 4 years ago so I think it will always be one of our favorite places...not to mention it is beautiful!!
This was allies first time to fly and I was a little worried that she would have ear trouble or just get restless on the air plane but she did great! When we got to the airport Saturday morning she was so excited to see the air planes we just stood at a huge window watching them and every time one would take off she would squeal!

She didn't even whimper on the plane (which I am so thankful for because I know a lot of kids have ear issues)!

haha she thought this was so funny :)

We were changing her diaper in the atl airport and she discovered "addie tate" in the mirror and was just smitten :) She was kissing herself and talking it was so funny!!

I was so proud of my sweet girl because a long day of travel can wear down even an adult but she did fantastic (even with no nap)...I was more impatient than she was haha! Customs is a royal pain!!(but of course I am glad we have them!!)
When we got there first things first we had to get in a bubble bath and order room service (fit for a king! Heath was so impressed he was acting like an 8 yr old little boy it was so funny!)

This was the first day when we got there and we added bubbles...long story short the bubbles turned brown and Allie kept saying "poo poo, mommy" well when we finally got all the water drained she had not pooped in the tub (I'm pretty sure haha) and we think it was the pipes that were dirty...either way we decided no more bubbles (at least that many) and no more jets!

They had the biggest bath tubs ever there! Which was cool and kind of annoying at times too because it was so big that I had to get in it with Allie Kate anytime she took a bath (which is at least once if not twice a day!)

We had lots of pool time...my child is a fish!!!

the whole pool had a shelf that was GREAT for Allie!

Daddy trying to get AK to "kick and pull" haha

We went to the beautiful beach too...and me and Heath decided that the waves were much to huge to risk getting Allie all the way in!

We even went back to where we got married and that was really cool to take Allie Kate where we got married just 4 years ago!!!

I could barely keep her out of this thing since it was so hot out!!

Our favorite meal of the day was definitely breakfast! Allie did not eat very much while we were there...I thought she would have a hard time finding she liked so I actually took her all sorts of stuff (noodles, easy mac, rice, snacks)...All of the little Mexican waiters and waitresses LOVED her!! She would look up at them with her beautiful blue eyes (they also loved I guess because most of them have dark eyes) and say "Oda!" and then they thought we spoke spanish!! haha not quite...me and Heath have just decided we are going to learn it!

watching her wiggles dvd that she has recently taken an obsession to...she always wants to her "fute sadad" fruit salad :)

I thought this picture was hilarious because this is real life...she is never still and always running and squealing :)

she finally found something she liked haha "creamadies"

going to breakfast!
We also went out to dinner for "Nana's" bday!! We pretty much went out to eat every night and I must say I am ready for home cooked American food!!

Allie has gotten to the stage where she just does not ever want to be still so dinner out can be a challenge...one night we went out by the pool after I finished eating (so everyone else could eat in peace haha)...

Allie had not had a nap all day and was really ill and got mad and flung herself forward and the next thing I know she has blood running down her face...talk about heart palpitations!!
She was fine she just bit her lip and had a big scab on her chin where she skinned it!!

The last night we were there we rented a limo to take us to the Cancun palace to eat and to go back to where we got married (clothed haha)

That was probably one of the scariest rides I have ever been on!! He was going like 70 mph just exiting the hotel! I actually asked him to please slow down since we had a baby and weren't quite ready to die just yet...but he kept on truckin!!

We did make it to the hotel though (thank the Lord!!)

This may not look like much but this is the first time my sweet girl has stood in the sand (yes she is wearing shoes) and not screamed her head off!

"air pane mommy"

the very same walk I made just 4 years ago!! I never thought I would be here again 4 years later with a beautiful baby girl :)

We had a great time and I hope we get the chance to go back one day and who knows maybe we will be tagging along a few more little dolls :)

So glad to be home!!!
