Summer fun

We have been having a good summer so far :) Lots of playing outside and water...and me and Allie Kate have been having "school" when Ava naps and she loves it! But I have a feeling most of our summer is going to be spent at the pool or some sort of outside water fun...

Washing her bikes :)

She loved the "baby"
I love these two so much :) We took them to Red Lobster and they both ate like hogs and had the best time seeing the lobsters :)

We've been shopping for clogging shoes (Allie's newest prized possession)

We have been working on getting baby brother some things where when we get back from the beach in a couple of weeks we can start changing the rooms around. the girls were both so excited when this was delivered haha!
baby brother finally got a name! Hudson Cade Vaughn :)
We have been playing with Julie and Olivia a lot this summer :)

I have been growing by the minute! 27 weeks!

We had Julie's surprise 30th birthday party...

Me and sweet Libby-loo :) I love this little cutie and am so glad she will be so close with my girls growing up!

We had Allie Kate's first clogging class and she is SO excited about clogging :)
We didn't have clogging shoes for the first class and she was MORE than excited to go get her first pair of clogging shoes and a couple of new "big clogging girl outfits like Cheryl Kaye wears" :) She wanted the shorts and "brab" tops but we compromised with shorts and a tank top! I laughed when we were standing at the cash register and she said "Mommy why can't I have the brab?" (Um... maybe because you are 4 years old???)  Oh Lord the days ahead of me!

these girls (Allie, Maci, and LC attacking Cheryl Kaye) were SO excited to be back in dance and giggled and smiled the whole class...and I would know...moms got to go in and learn the dance too (it wasn't pretty I assure you).

Memorial day weekend

Since we had Allie's end of the year party and were running around all day after that I didn't get a chance to pack us for the lake until Saturday morning! So Saturday morning we were running around getting everything together (and by "we" I mean "I"...and with a very clingy baby attached to me). We headed up to the lake for the weekend :)

When we first put the girls life jackets on them they were not excited...and neither of my girls were crazy about the lake water at first...

But Ava warmed up to it in no time (Allie Kate is still not a huge fan...that's probably my fault) Ava and Olivia actually ended up falling asleep in the water...sweet girls!

Me and Chad were the baby whisperers they were both passed out :)

With the babies asleep it was time for me and Ju to party!

The girls did pretty good on the boat...the life jackets get on their nerves but they did better than I thought!

They played a lot in their little pool too

This is what it looks like to lay out with two children :) I got lots of love and flowers and little people on top of me :) Wouldn't change it for the world!
BUBBLES!!!!! these cuties are obsessed with "Bubbbbbas"

that blur is Allie Kate jumping from bed to bed  :)

The girls ended up having a great time :) They both LOVE being around lots of people (Allie must have shown 30 different people her bed she was sleeping in and her room and new shoes). Speaking of sleep...that wasn't so wonderful at the lake...my girls both sleep in their own rooms every night and we were all in one room together. Ava refused to sleep in her pack and play so we put her in our bed and she tossed and turned like a wild woman. Allie slept in one of the twin beds in our room...except she said she was scared (even though I was like 4 feet from her and literally would wave at her) so guess who's big butt got to squeeze into a twin bed with her...MINE :(  I would wake up with one side of my body numb and sneak into the king bed with Heath and Ava and then in a few hours I'd have a little girl whispering "Mommy" so I played musical beds. I am a little nervous about how the beach is going to go in a couple of weeks!

How we all felt by the time we were packing to go home :)
