Baseball and the 4th of July :)

For Father's day me and the girls got Heath tickets to a Barron's baseball game...We had a big day that day...We moved the girls into their "new room" (we had to move them together to start preparing for baby boy :) I was extremely nervous and sad to do this but they were both so excited to be sharing a room that it did help! Allie Kate was telling everyone about "her new sleeping buddy." They have done GREAT sleeping in the same room together, and for that I am VERY thankful! My two main worries were that Allie Kate wouldn't want her sister sharing her room (which she ended up loving...and still does) and that they wouldn't go to sleep good (they have done perfect from the get go!). More on the rooms, both Hudson's and the girls, in another post...
We took Heath to the Barron's game :)

this girl clapped and danced and had herself a good time!

So we didn't get to watch a ton of the game but we did eat some good food and ice cream and the girls played on the playground :)

We headed up to the lake for some fun in the sun for the 4th :)

haha!

I couldn't ride on the boat this trip because the water was rough and I didn't want to bounce baby boy out...I was really sad I didn't get to go watch Allie Kate ride the inner-tube, but I know there will be many years of inner-tube riding to come :)

Allie had a great time with all the little girls again this trip! And she was SUPER excited because we got a new set of bunk beds in our room at the lake and she got to sleep on them...
Poor girl was exhausted  and literally fell asleep with the lights on and her sister poking at her! She had a great time :)

Beach

We decided this year that we would leave for the beach around 4:30pm and travel at night and the girls would sleep since their bedtime is normally around 7:30pm....well lets just say that plan didn't quite work out for us ;)

We left at about 4:30 and stopped in Montgomery for dinner at Olive Garden (yes, we chose a sit down LONG dinner so the girls would be good and tired when we got back in the car...or so we thought). I changed them into their jammies in the bathroom before we left the restaurant and we hit the road again. Ava Grace fell asleep almost right away...for about 30 minutes...I kept hearing a funny noise and turned around and it was her blowing me kisses and waving!

She was ready to party!!!

And Allie Kate (my non-car sleeper...seriously she refuses to go to sleep in the car) of course never closed her eyes once. When we got to the beach at about 10:30-11pm both girls were WIRED! It was pretty funny! Even though they were both awake for the trip down they were both great!!!

Allie Kate was so excited to be around all the little girl cousins and ran around with them for the first few days we were there (until they had to leave and she was forced to play with boring ole mom and dad). She would wake up and try to sneak out of the door and I would barely catch her and ask her where she was going and she would say "to see my friends."

Out to dinner at the crab trap :) We can just walk from the house to dinner and it's so convenient!
And Allie Kate loves to push the stroller!

She was asleep before we could even sit down to eat!

We weren't crazy strict on nap times this year since they are both getting a little older and we figured they'd be fine to skip a few. Ava was SO tired by around 5pm most days that she just passed out and then we would be up until 10pm or so.
This poor girl got the wrath of her momma when she needed the first drink of my pina colada and literally spilled the entire thing...bless her. (No worries I made Heath buy me another $6 pina colada).

Olivia turned one year old while we were there!!
(So this picture was taken at her birthday party a few days before we left)
Happy birthday to my favorite niece in the whole world! Aunt Ash loves you and loves watching you grow into such a sweet girl with a goofy little personality!

The beach was so fun this year! Both girls loved it :)

This sweet girl is almost impossible to get a picture of these days she is always on the run!

Allie Kate is terrified of not being able to touch but this little crazy will fight you tooth and nail trying to break free...and even if she goes under the water she comes up smiling!

Loves her "Mommy" Yay! She finally calls me "mommy" now :)

This is where Allie Kate loved to be...right where the waves crashed and she would play for hours :)

Big mama :) 29 weeks
Me and the girls sat and played in the waves most of the time...and that means I truly love them because I despise sand!

We were at the beach on Father's day this year and so we just spent the day on the beach enjoying time with the best daddy :) I am so thankful my girls have such a good daddy...and I know one day they will be too! They absolutely LOVE and adore their daddy and he feels exactly the same about them ;)

tickled about something :)

Silly girl :)

Both girls slept pretty good at the beach. Ava refused to sleep in her pack and play again so we just put her in the bed with us and Allie Kate slept on a twin bed in our room.
I loved getting to snuggle up to this beauty at nap and bedtime :)

Trying on hats at the outlets :)

This year we had a family photo session...yes we were those dorks in all white (the ones I normally giggle at when I see them all out there trying to get 30 people to look at once).

yes...we were those dorks :)

How she truly felt about taking pictures :) Can't blame her ;)

Kissing her baby brother!

Ava wasn't a fan of pictures either!

After all the pictures we walked over to the crab trap for a pina colada...

Where the little girls ran and ran :)

Allie likes to pick her sister up all the time now...which is sweet until she is ready to put her down and she just kinda chunks her.

Ava ran around doing this...everyone got a kick out of it :)

Sisters and cousins :) My favorite girls!!!

All the guys went on their annual deep sea fishing trip and so we did our normal outing to Panama city to Pineapple Willie's.
Ava Grace fell asleep on the way and stayed asleep on my big belly for about 30 minutes inside!

On the way home me and the girls stopped by the commons for ice cream (they had closed the shop :-/ ) and to play in the water.

Ava got too far away for Allie's comfort!

Since the ice cream shop had closed we came back to the house for ice cream...

And then down for some much needed naps :) It's hard being a single mom for the day at the beach!

We always go to big kahunas on our vacation and this year the girls LOVED it...

It wore Ava Grace slap out! I was in the middle of taking a picture of her and she fell asleep!

We got them both airbrushed shirts and Allie was so excited to pick hers out! Of course she had to have the unicorn :)

Shopping at the outlets :) She told me "Mommy move over so other people can see themselves in the mirror too!" haha!

I turned 28 years old (gosh that sounds old...I don't feel that old!) while we were at the beach and we went to dinner to celebrate!

29 weeks

We came back to the house to eat cupcakes and Ava thoroughly enjoyed herself :)

We took the girls to the track to ride rides one night...

These girls LOVED riding waves in the inter tube :)

Except for when crazy Aunt Ju tried to drown them all

We had a wonderful beach trip (our last as a family of four!) I love my little family so much and love making fun memories with them :)
