Our Chaotic week...a wedding party and the scariest moment of my life!

We had Ava Grace's 2 month Dr. appointment on Monday with Dr. Bill and of course big sister wanted to go too :) She was so pumped about that visit because she got to see Dr.Bill and he wasn't even checking her, I on the other hand DREADED this visit because of shots...I don't care if I have 10 kids that have to have shots I will get used to that :(
Big sister in the waiting room

They probably don't have any "handberciser" left in that whole office...teach them not to leave us in the waiting room for an hour and a half haha

sweetest baby I know :)

this goofy girl loves her sisters car seat and wanted to ride in it to the car :)

Dr.Bill is a great doctor but every time I have to take one of the girls I swear I am changing doctors because it takes SO long! We were there for 3 hours (and I know that may not seem so bad but with a 2 month old and a 3 year old that is a LONG time). Luckily they were both so good the whole time!
Ava did excellent she didn't fuss at all until her shots and right after her 5 shots (I know ridiculous right?) and her oral polio vaccine she was fine after about 15 seconds :) I was so glad that she did so well!

Tuesday morning Allie got my cell phone and called her Nana (along with about 10 other people haha) and talked her into coming and getting her and taking her to the park to play since it was warm (about 72 degrees in January!) and then me and Ava met Allie, Nana, and Aunt Ju to eat at our place for lunch. Nana had taken Allie to Kmart and she had found this Christmas dress on clearance and Allie LOVED it and kept calling it her wedding dress haha :) So we had to have a wedding party that night when Heath got home from work and Allie was SO excited about this wedding party :)
Ready for the park :) She is such a little sassy thing :)

Wedding party time:

Ava Grace in her white wedding party outfit :)

She thought we were all nuts dancing around in our white clothes!

Daddy dancing and being silly

Yes this is my real wedding dress haha...needless to say it did not zip!

Daddy dancing with Ava

I love my life...no I didn't have a shower that day and life is crazy hectic right now but look at my sweet girls and how fun it is :)

Allie in my wedding dress...so special to me

Wednesday morning we woke up to bad storms and since it was just me and the girls and big John was out of town and my mom and Jake were home by themselves too, I did something crazy...I loaded up both girls in the middle of the storm and drove down to her house so in case it did get bad we wouldn't be alone!
while I was rocking her I looked down and she was doing the "I love you" sign with her hand :)

tickling Jake

I have the best baby in the world...she is SO good! And she sleeps ALL the time!

Julie ended up coming over and coming back to my house to help me get the girls ready and a shower in time for dance class...and Allie didn't seem to be feeling all that great she was sneezing a lot and her cheeks were a little pink and I just thought she was having allergies (since the weather kept going back and forth so much) so I gave her some tylenol and we headed out to dance class.

When we got up there they had gotten in some recital uniforms for us to try on them and while I was trying Allie's on her she fell down and yelled (not uncommon for her because she wiggles so much so I didn't really think anything about it) and I just picked her back up and started trying the second outfit on her and it was a little big so one of the other moms was messing with it seeing how it would need to be taken up and she fell again and made the same yelling noise and this time I saw her face and could tell that it was not normal and something was happening to her and I started to cry and said I thought she may have just had a seizure or something. Well she got up and was talking to me and I asked her if she wanted to just go home and skip dance class and rest and she said she did so I loaded her and Ava Grace into the car and I had them both strapped in and I opened my door to get in and I heard Allie holler out and when I looked in the backseat I saw something no parent should ever have to experience...my baby was having a full on seizure! I ran and beat on the glass telling one of the moms to call 911 and ran to Allie's side of the car and she had purple lips and her eyes were rolled back in her head and her arms were drawn up and she was shaking and she had used the bathroom on herself so I grabbed her out of the car seat and ran inside with her and she finally stopped shaking but when she did she just laid there lifeless for what seemed like a lifetime. She finally started to regain consciousness very slowly and she couldn't really talk and it scared the life out of me! I kept thinking about parents that see their kid go from crazy fun loving and alive to not even there and wondered if I would be one of those parents but by the grace of God she very slowly came too and by the time the ambulance got there she was conscious, so me and my mom opted to take her to Children's Hospital ourselves (Heath's mom came and got Ava Grace from the dance studio) and Heath met us there from work. They said it was most likely from her fever spiking so fast, it went from very low to 102.5 very fast and they told us it doesn't matter how high the fever is it is all about how fast it goes up. She finally became herself again after about an hour in the ER. I cannot get the image of the most important thing in my life laying lifeless in my arms and I know I won't ever forget it! I am so thankful that my sweet baby is okay and I know the Lord was watching over her. I don't care if the Doctors say it's not that uncommon and nothing to worry about...I saw her little body shaking uncontrollably and her lips turn purple from not breathing and heard her poor little voice barely be able to whisper "I want my momma" even though I was the one holding her because I don't think she had regained her vision yet...that's a big deal to me and probably every other mommy on the planet! I thank God and him alone that she is okay today :)

Heath stayed home from work today to help keep an eye on Allie today and we went to Ming's to eat and she has been acting fine...in fact she performed "ghangam style" for the entire restaurant :)

And this girl slept the entire time :)

Circus Circus

We took Allie Kate to the circus this past weekend and Heath's parents kept Ava Grace so we could take just her and have special time with her. She LOVED it :) She was mesmerized by everything, especially the cheerleaders (yes there were like 30 girls in pink uniforms with pink pom poms...kind of odd, but cute) and that has made Allie obsessed with her cheerleader uniform again...we had to go home and put on her Alabama uniform and get her pom poms out :)

She ate enough popcorn to kill a horse and we shared a $12 bag of cotton candy :)When we left she said she had fun and wanted to go again tomorrow after her nap haha!

Happy Birthday dear Daddy :)

We had Heath's family birthday party this weekend...I can't believe he is 31 years old! He was 20 years old when we started dating, that seems unreal that time is passing so fast!

Our other sweet girl was passed out!

Ju (about 19 weeks pregnant with Olivia Jane :) and Chad!

Allie Kate is so wild when there are a lot of people around...I barely see her and when I do she is kinda mean to me and she gets in trouble (that makes me so sad to think just last year she was stuck to me like glue). She had the best time running around like a wild woman and playing with Brynnen, they are so funny together! Allie has been so goofy lately and she is starting to have imaginary friends I think...she always talks about John David (not her cousin but one that is there with us at home haha) and Siddy. Now Siddy is very detailed, she has pink hair like Rapunzel that flows on the floor and she is 2 years old and she lives at our house! That sounds like me at her age I two friends named lunas and marnus so the name Siddy doesn't sound all that crazy :)

Costco and a burrito :)

I have never been to Costco before and I talked my mom into taking me and the girls :)

Allie thinks it's so funny when I wrap my hair in a towel and asked me if I would put hers up in a towel and I remembered I had a couple of those turbie twists someone had gotten me and I had never used...
that made for one happy little girl :) and she kept telling me she was a burrito like the ones in New York!

this is real life people :) haha Allie being a goofball, Ava Grace crying, me with slobber/throw up on my shirt haha

We went to play at Candace's house and there was a cat outside and Allie was obsessed with this cat! She fed it her gold fish and would pet it and talk to it! Poor girl needs a cat :)
