We kicked off Easter weekend with a egg hunt on Saturday at a church up the road...
Bless her heart it was really bright...but she tried to smile :) She only got 5 eggs these kids were crazy!!
On Easter morning when Allie Kate woke up we let her open her Easter baskets (yes there were two :)
This picture cracks me up!
The first thing she did was shove some of her new gum in her mouth :)
She is so funny!
We started the day off by going to church together as a family (Allie Kate went to church with us). We got almost through the singing and Allie Kate was ready to go she told me " I not want to be in here I want to go to Sunday school" so we took her down stairs to a Sunday school class and she was sad at first but when we went t pick her up she was fine!
We came home and I had to make squash casserole ( the best stuff ever) really fast to take to nana's house for lunch and an egg hunt :)
And as soon as we got home she wanted to play outside in her dress (that was white!) and ride this little old bike that belongs to our old neighbor Mrs. Jo that she spotted one day when she had her garage door open and claimed as her own :)
So we went down to Nana's and hunted eggs...

Allie won 3rd place in the egg contest and made $30! I know crazy right? She couldn't have cared less!

Later we went to Nan and Pop's house and ate again and played outside :)

*by the way we told our families that Allie Kate is going to be a big sister! They were all so excited!! I put these sweet pictures in frames for everyone and they loved them :)
Me and Allie Kate made this sign and went to the park and she just did SO good taking pictures for me...I think she may be a model one day :)
