Finally back from the dead!

Where to start....
Well our lap top has been dead for the past month and a half and we FINALLY got it fixed! So since I have been gone SO much has happened...

We took a family vacation to New York!! It was fun but very different and we were ready to come home by the end of the week! I always thought if I went there I would want to stay forever and dream of living there....totally NOT the case! I could never be a New Yorker I just don't have it in me! But there are some beautiful things to see...

So pretty I don't know what it really was but it was in central park and beautiful!!

We went to the Central park zoo and it was a lot smaller than I thought it would be (since its what Madagascar was based on) but it was pretty neat it had penguins!!

Allie got a lot of new stuff since we spent like 4 nights in toys r us riding the Farris wheel

She strutted her stuff all over NYC in these heels...people were stopping and adoring this tiny little girl in her smocked clothing and large hair bow walking around in high heels (she may as well have been an alien walking the streets)

It was a very sad place to be...you could feel the sadness of the area

We had a good time...its always neat to see how other people live especially when its so different from your everyday life! I had people asking me why Allie Kate has "2 names" from the time we got to the airport in Chicago...and there were so many comments on her hair bows...one lady even said "that thing on her head" as if she was talking about some foreign object she had never seen :) Me and Heath were so fascinated with how these people live up there....Do people have kids? If so where were they? How do they ever play outside? How do they get their groceries home on the subway? Why do they honk so much? Where is everyone going at 3am? Do they really not drive? And I think we appreciated our little space in the world (our home and yard) a LOT more :)
