4th of July!!!!

We went to the lake for the 4th of July!!! It was a lot of fun!

Allie Kate rode on the boat last summer and was not very fond of it (because of the life jacket)...but this year she did SO GOOD!!!
She sat there with her little legs spread (for balance haha) and just looked around the whole time :) I love that sweet baby girl!!
She fell asleep holding a cheezit on the boat sitting straight up!

She liked to sit in daddy's lap and help drive...and honk the horn :)

But deep down she STILL hates her annoying life jacket!

Allie also got in the lake and swam a little (which is HUGE improvement from last year when she would scream-once again because of the life jacket).

Allie had so much fun running around yelling every one's name and talking to everybody...she is getting SO smart! I had 3 different people at the lake tell me that she is the smartest 1 and a half year old they have ever met!!!

Allie Kate got to take baths with baby Brynnen and she would bother poor Candace to death handing her cups full of water to wash her off with saying "here tandace" over and over again :)

We watched fireworks Sunday night and she just sat in my lap for an hour staring in the sky and she would say "boooom" haha and then tell me all the colors that were in the fireworks!

We ate way too many "emme neme nees" (m&m's) and stayed up wayyyyy to late :) But we had a great 4the of July!!!

When we got home from the lake we had Nan and Donnie's bday dinner and while we were getting ready Allie Kate dropped a bottle of shaving cream on her toe (in the shower). She had her first band aid!! At first she liked it but soon wanted it off (of course)!

*Oh by the way Allie kate told me this morning for breakfast that she wanted "pink mints" when I asked her again she told me "cheetos" and then it was "emenemenees" and finally "pancakes"!! She would laugh when she said the first few because she knew that wasn't going to happen :) She is also saying "Addie tate" instead of just Allie...and finally she says "yes" and is pointing her finger down and saying "oneeee" when I ask her how old she is (I have to practically make her say it:)
*She also grabbed her phone and said "Hey baby! What u doin?"
*She is attached at the hip to her favorite doll "baby sasha" she has to do everything with us and go everywhere...we even have to tell her night night and Allie Kate will even cry sometimes when we leave her to go to bed...and first thing in the morning she asks for her :) Pretty soon we might have to get her a car seat (she already has a stroller haha)!
