Bottle baby...VBS and first tooth :)

SO much has happened in the last couple of weeks! I quit breastfeeding Ava Grace 2 weeks ago (and it was a very rough week or so following...for me not her!). I wished that I could remember all the details of when I stopped breast feeding Allie Kate to compare this time (mainly to know that my boobs wouldn't be hard lumpy melons forever and I would be okay emotionally soon :) Ava did great she didn't mind at all...I on the other hand felt AWFUL!! I felt like the worst mom in the world...those dang hormones will make you crazy!

SO as a note to myself when I am hopefully looking back on this blog with baby number 3....it takes about a week until you no longer want to hang your self in the back yard, 4-5 days until your boobs aren't about to burst (I only pumped when I HAD to which was like once and suffered the rest of the time), about a week and a half before your milk goes away completely...and at that point you REALLY wish it would come back for the physical aspect :) And with both Allie and Ava quitting cold turkey was the only way I could do it!

Allie Kate went to Vacation Bible School for the first time! She went to Mt. Vernon where she will also be starting school next week :) I remember when I was a kid we always went to my Granny's house and spent the week with her and went to VBS at her church and it was so much fun so I was really excited for Allie Kate to get to go! She did pretty good when I dropped her off every night (except one night and she acted like she was about to cry and I called for a little girl to come talk to her that we know and snuck off) every night when I picked her up she was having SO much fun that she didn't even care to see me she was worried about getting into the gym to sing! I am so glad she had a good time!

We picked Maci up from school one day and she went with Allie Kate to VBS that night...they played and played (Addie came over too) and we thought they may pass out on stage that night :)

We went to a wedding this past weekend and me and Allie were pretty excited about it...but let me say...we are NOT ready as a family to do things like that often :)

Lets just say we may or may not have spilled an entire container of puffs on the floor in the middle of the ceremony, Ava spit her passy out and it landed a row back and I was pretty embarrassed when the lady behind me tapped me on the shoulder with it, Allie whispered (very loudly) the whole time asking about the bride and her dress, Ava got tired and fussy and at the reception Allie pulled the back of my dress up past my panties...yes it will be awhile :)

But at least they looked cute for the wedding :)

AND guess who got her first tooth??? My sweet pea was sitting in the floor chewing her little hand and I picked her up and felt and she has a tooth!!!! It feels like a little razor in there :) You can't see it good yet but boy you can feel it!! Now I'm pretty glad I am done breast feeding ;)
