First day of school :)

First day of school, first day of school!!! You better believe I woke Allie Kate up saying "first day of school, first day off school" like off of "Nemo" which we watch like 54 times a day! I have been anxious about today for a LONG time now and I am happy to say that today went about as well as I could expect! I woke Allie up at about 7am and she got a bath and watched "Sofia the first" while she ate breakfast (two mini pancakes with no syrup...her usual) she picked out her own outfit (with encouragement from me ;) last night so it went pretty smooth today, plus Gran came and got Ava Grace so I wouldn't have to take her with me up to the school so that helped a lot :) While we were getting ready she would make comments like "I don't want you to leave me there" or "I don't like my school" and I could tell that she was scared but she was really sweet about it. When we got there we took pictures by the fountain....

I walked her into her class and talked to the teacher for a minute and then I picked her up and gave her a hug and told her I love her and she wasn't crying out loud or even saying anything but I saw her wipe her eyes and when I put her down she hugged my leg for a second and then the teacher picked her up and carried her off to find her name :) I think we are really going to like her teacher! She seems very sweet!

After I dropped her off and I was completely baby-less I went and ate breakfast at cracker-barrel with a friend and came home and picked up my house and then my love monkey came home and we played for a little bit and it was time to go pick up Allie! When I got her in the car she had stuff all over her little face and she looked at me and smiled so big and said "I ate lunch momma...I ate mashed potatoes" (which I could tell because they were still on her face ha! She said she loves her teachers and had so much fun :)

Her little new letter for the first day :) Allie Kate talkative? I would have never guessed ;)

We went and got a shaved ice with Destiny and Kolby later in the afternoon and Allie Kate was telling everyone that she went to school and "I'm in 3k" this girl is so sweet and smart and I am so proud of her! 

And when she got home she was pretending to be a teacher  :)
