The past couple of weeks...

Warning...it's been kind of hectic :)

Before my 18 ultrasound (regular anatomy scan) :)
She was excited to go the the ultrasound but nervous too (she is so weird about the doctor right now). Ava Grace also had a doc appt this past week (16 month check up) and had to get two shots and Allie was  a nervous wreck the whole time.

This is the appointment when the doctor scared the daylights out of me when she told me that they saw a band on the ultrasound and I had to wait an entire week (doesn't sound like that long but when you are worried to death it is a lifetime!) to get an appointment with the high risk doctor who informed us it is not an amniotic band that it is a fold in the placenta (more on that later).

That week was a long week at the time but it passed by pretty fast we were super busy....

we went to the outlet malls to shop and play

We had breakfast with Julie and Olivia and made pretty pancakes....the girls loved them :)

Of course we saw Addie...

And our cousins....

Silly goofball :)

We went and saw the Easter bunny...
Allie Kate loved the Easter bunny this year :)

Her sister on the other hand did not...

But they got a cookie afterwards and they all three loved that :)

The doctors appointment went well and I was so relieved to hear their were no bands...it was a fold in the placenta and something called circumvallete placenta...only affects 1% of pregnancies and it can cause some complications later on in pregnancy but I am not even really worried about it. I am just so thankful. I will just keep going for monthly ultrasounds in hopes that the fold flattens out.

We had a haircut appointment...
Ava didn't get a haircut but she wasn't going to miss out on a sucker!

We have been to several flea malls and antique stores trying to find something for baby boys (yes he is still nameless) room...both girls LOVE antique stores :)

I am growing bigger and bigger by the day...
20 weeks and bigger than I ever was with either of the girls at this point!

We had Allie Kate's school Easter party...

Allie Kate and Anna Kate

Playing don't crack the egg

After her class egg hunt and party of course we had to go see her "bestie" Addie. The girls were SO excited they were matching...and no it was not planned...we tend to dress them alike randomly which is kind of crazy!

We dyed Easter eggs...

I was a bad mom and didn't take pictures while we dyed them...I was a little distracted.

Ava got her first pony tail!!!

haha! My little sumo wrestler!

Obsessed with this little beauty :)
We had family Easter pictures taken...
Me and Julie wanted a picture of just us girls :)

Soon to be family of 5! (19 weeks pregnant)

Both girls loved the bunnies...they were their favorite!

Allie wasn't a huge fan of the chicken...she wouldn't hold it

She studied the lambs goofy face and then decided to make it too...

We had a swim party....

I mean come on...I'm just a little obsessed with her chunky little tan body in a bikini :)

We went to Cullman for the day this past Saturday to look in a few antique stores (didn't end up buying one thing) and went to the fair...

And then we went to Sportsmans lake which was right beside the fairgrounds...
feeding the ducks

they played in this little creek and had such a good time together :)

Ava literally ate the entire time

She loved this slide so much...until she had to get off and she would cry every time until she got up the stairs to go down again haha!

sweet cousins

We had a great time! It was so pretty and the girls had a blast :)

  1. Found your page completely by accident. You have two beautiful daughters. I have two sons who will be 22 and 23 this year! Enjoy your children's childhood while you can because they grow up far too quickly
