Recital 2014 :)

So my sweet girl has officially completed her 2nd year of dance! That sounds wild to me (she's only 4 so that means half of her life she has been in dance!).She was super excited about recital this year! Friday night we had rehearsal and Allie thought she was some hot stuff getting to dance on the stage :)
Allie thought it was pretty cool that we wore matching t shirts :)

The girls with their cookies we got them :)

they were SO cute!

Cuties :)

After practice that night Gran and Papa kept the girls so me and Heath could go to a marriage conference at church...it was good but it lasted until 11pm! And we had to be up early and back to the recital the next morning by 8:30am (and that was completely ready). Allie was excited and did so good :) I am so proud of her and how outgoing she is! She does not get that from me (the thought of going up on a stage in front of a bunch of people makes me want to hide!). She had the sweetest/happiest smile on her sweet little face...pure bliss :) She was so proud of herself :)
Mrs. Beverly was sick with pneumonia but she still made it to recital...this lady is amazing!

She was so excited to get flowers from her daddy :) She wanted to show them to everyone and pulled several off and gave them to her friends!

So proud of this little beauty!

"Stupid cupid you're a real mean guy"

Besties :)

She was so excited to get another trophy!

the original 3 :)

Little besties...these girls mean the world to Allie Kate :)

Ava had a good time at the recital too :)

Gran, Papa, Nap and Pop and Nana came to watch her dance :)

this was our attempt at a family picture...in a crowded hallway with the girls fighting over Allie Kate's new stuffed pig :)

After recital we came home and changed clothes and headed up to the lake for a surprise birthday party for the baileys and when we came home we rested for an hour or so and me and Allie Kate headed back out to watch the big girls at the recital that night :) We met Ami and Maci there and the girls had fun watching the big girls!

Sunday we skipped church...I know I know...priorities out of whack but I felt like I had been run over by a bus :-/  We had Emma's birthday party Sunday afternoon and Allie Kate was excited to get to see all the girls! We went on a LONG walk...they live on an old golf course and we walked for atleast an hour (with 5 little girls). We were pretty tired by the time we got back!

She needed the base ball bat to use as her "cane" to help her walk and in case a "pit dog" got after us :) Goofy girl!
