4th of July and a big girl bed!

Allie Kate has been outgrowing her toddler bed for a while now so we decided to go ahead and get her a "big girl" bed :) We took her to pottery barn a few weeks ago to look around and decided it was time!!!

Her last nap in her toddler bed before we changed it into her big girl bed!!!

Happy 4th of July (a couple of days late :) We went up to the lake after Heath got off work Wednesday night to celebrate with family! I am not really a lake person but Heath and Allie Kate LOVE the lake and I love food and being around my family :)

It stormed/rained/was not pretty the entire time we were there! But we made the best of it and played in the rain and road the boat anyways....and got rained on :)

Ava's first boat ride! 

She was NOT happy about the life jacket and I thought it might be a painful boat ride but she ended up liking it :)

LOTS of fireworks went down and Allie Kate did her first sparklers! She was scared at first but once she did one she was an old pro :)

Our first 4th of July as a family of 4 was so much fun :)
