We have been adjusting to life with 4 babies and it actually has been a pretty easy adjustment :-) Mason just fits perfectly in our little family! All the kids love him so much and so far we have had no jealousy issues and everyone has been great!!! The hardest part is getting out and about with all of them...because I am way outnumbered these days! Also the ages of the 3 youngest makes it a little challenging getting out (3, 18mos, and 1.5 months) but we have gotten out a few times and I'm sure it'll become the new norm and we will be out and about as usual :-)every night at bedtime the girls have to hold Mason...and fight over who gets to hold him last and the longest ;) but Ava is just smitten with him...Allie says Hudson is her baby :)
When Mason was a few weeks old Allie Kate came down with a fever virus for a full week and while she doesn't have the febrile seizures anymore she still just had a really hard time with fever :-( so we got a blow up bed and kept her in our room because she tends to throw up with fever and just to keep an eye on her. It was pretty interesting since Mason was in the room with us and wakes up about every 3 hours (and Ak had to have meds every 3 hours). But she was super excited to sleep in the blow up bed and the girls still fight over who gets to take a nap in the blow up mattress in our floor ;)
Valentine's Day prizes
We had our annual "candle light dinner" like we do every year and the kids just think it's the coolest thing ever...I don't even want to think about the day they aren't so easily impressed!
Our first outing to the Mexican restaurant (our fav) :)
Breakfast time :-) this was my first week home with all the kids after Heath went back to work and Allie pulled all their chairs together so they could be right beside each other :-) makes my heart happy and I may or may not have cried!
We were getting a little stir crazy and decided to go visit Nan and pop and on the way to their house we got a flat tire...yep it was one of those days! So we had to go get two nails pulled out and the tire patched and then we went to Nan and pops and played outside and saw them for a while!
She loves us more than a unicorn...and that's a whole dang lot haha!
The girls are signed up for swim lessons coming up and Ava got a new bathing suit and has been wearing it around our house at least 2 days a week (I wish I was joking!)
Me and Heath got to go on a grocery shopping date haha!
Sweet girl in the famous blow up bed
We had dance pictures a few weeks ago and by the time I got them ready and up to the dance studio I was literally sweating! Heath was supposed to be home from work and he ended up not being able to leave so I was running around like a crazy lady...curling hair, putting mascara on them, fixing snacks, breastfeeding...it was rough!
The girls did so good at dance pics and I was so proud of them :)
Ava and "her baby" as she likes to call him :-) she ADORES baby Mason ;)
And so do I :-) he may just be the sweetest baby ever :-)
This is what after bath time looks like (and yes we were all in the bath tub...even Mason! Heath thinks we are nuts!) time to blow dry hair!
Me and the kids made papa a craft for his bday and they had a blast and it turned out so cute :)
We are getting a new swing set and Heath has been working on the fence (moving it back to make it bigger)
Huddy has enjoyed helping :-)
My sweet girl is learning to read and has been all about writing me things "I love you mom! I love you!"
After school me and Julie took the kids to McDonald's to eat and play. At one point when we were walking into McDonalds Julie looked at me and said "wow you have a lot of kids" and that's when I feel like it's the most challenging trying to get 4 people out of the car and across the parking lot into a store and it's really the youngest 3 because they are still babies. But we had a blast and it was a good day :-)
This handsome nugget has started smiling and he owns me! Gosh I love this handsome chunk!
Allie had Dr. Seuss week at school the past two weeks and she has had a blast! I'm so thankful for her teacher and little friends and how much fun they have!
Mason even got in on the fun and dressed as the lorax (not really me and Allie just thought it was funny ;)
We had to get a few things at publix :-) they were all wonderful but it was hard to find a place to put anything
