We had to be out of the house at 6am on Sunday morning (easier said than done! Especially when Heath didn't get home from the Alabama game until 1:30am!!). We flew out of Birmingham at 8am to Atlanta and that flight was kinda rough for me and Ava...she about rubbed the hair off of me but thankfully it was only a 30 minute flight! The flight to Orlando I let Heath hold her ;) (hey, you live and you learn) He had her for about 30 minutes and then I traded and got her to sleep.
We got in Disney World around 2pm and ate and checked in our hotel (Art of Animation) at 3pm. Then it was time to head to the happiest place on earth!!!
We went to Magic Kingdom Sunday night and the girls LOVED it! We rode Aladin's magic carpet ride twice and a jungle ride and some other little stuff and they were in heaven! I knew Allie Kate would have a great time but I worried about Ava Grace...but she had the best time! She hollered and squealed at every person she saw and laughed and squealed on the rides and waved those little arms like crazy!
Monday we went to Epcot and hung out there for the day and then ate dinner with the princesses :) She was so excited to see each princess and I doubt if she ate 2 bites of her food while we were there! She would hug them and I would take their picture and she would say "We have to do it again, I think I closed my eyes" every time! I think she was being sneaky getting a little extra princess love :)
Tuesday Allie Kate had an appointment at Bibbity bobbity boutique to get her hair, nails and make up done...she picked Ariel and she was so excited to see herself :) After she got done we went to lunch at Cinderella's Royal table to eat lunch with the Princesses and Allie Kate was in HEAVEN! Afterwards we rode rides in Magic Kingdom for the rest of the afternoon :)
Wednesday it was COLD! We bundled up and went to breakfast at Chef Mickey's where we got to see all the Mickey characters :)
After breakfast we went to Hollywood Studios and rode a few rides and watched "Indiana Jones" and then left because, like I said before, it was COLD!
We went back to our room and laid down for some much needed naps :) Later we went to Downtown Disney and at at "Wolf gang Puck's" and it was by far the best food we had down there!
Thursday we hung out in Magic Kingdom all day and rode rides and then went for dinner at the Wilderness Lodge...it was really cool and Allie was OBSESSED with the "ribaba" (river) that ran through it :)
After dinner we went back to Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Christmas party :)
Friday we spent the day at Animal Kingdom and it was a lot of fun! Allie Kate found her favorite ride of all the "Rapid river ride." It was already sprinkling a little so there were no lines and we rode it 3 times in a row and we were SOAKED! But it was totally worth it watching Allie Kate laugh and squeal :) We went back to the room and changed (Heath and Papa literally had to put their tennis shoes in the dryer) and put Ava down for a nap.
We had dinner at Ohana at 8pm (I don't know what on earth I was thinking making this reservation so late?)...both girls were passed out before we could even get on the bus to go back to our room!
Saturday we went back to Magic Kingdom since it was our favorite and both girls could ride most of the rides :) We ran into our buddy and rode a roller coaster with him too :) Allie was so excited to see Collin! It rained almost all day...and pretty hard so we all rocked ponchos!
Our last night there we went to Park Fair where we dined with Cinderella, her Prince, evil stepsisters (who Allie Kate LOVED...shocker haha), and evil step mother :)

We were getting ready to leave for the day and we got a knock on the door and got these prizes from a sweet friend who had these sent to the girls to make it a special first visit to Disney :) So sweet!
She was ALL about getting her little book signed :) We went through 2 of them :)
Her Chinese umbrella...with her name in Chinese :) She had to get one for her besties too...so we brought back one for Addie and Maci :)

Ava got really tired and bored waiting in line but this $15 balloon made her feel a lot better :)
