A yard sale, field trip, and boo at the zoo :)

Every now and then I let Heath talk me into something crazy and it happened again...we had a yard sale. The girls were more than happy to "help" and they had the best time!

As soon as they woke up they both wanted to go down and help with the yard sale so I had to give them breakfast to go...chocolate milk and lucky charms in a baggie :)

Allie almost took off several peoples toes on her bike so we had to make her put it up when it got really crowded.

Eating their breakfast of champions

Ava is at the silliest age and had so much fun talking to everyone that came by...she wanted to "hug" and kiss every person (and she actually did a few!).

Hudson even joined in on the fun :)

But he got bored pretty quick ;)

We took the girls to a little circus that came to town...

They were both super excited to ride the ponies...or "pomies" as Ava calls them :)

They even rode a camel...and since I have had the great privilege of riding one several times at the zoo, I volunteered Heath to ride with them (for the record he thought it was way cool).

It was fun...different from any circus I have ever been to but it was neat to see a small town circus and afterwards we took the girls to the park and played for a while and they had a blast!

That night after we got home from the circus Allie Kate complained that something had bitten her left ankle, we passed it off as an ant bite or a mosquito bite (they swell up huge). The next morning it had two marks like a spider bite would have but we still weren't super worried about it.  She was bitten on Friday night and by Sunday her whole ankle down to her foot was swollen and purple and was hurting and itching and driving her crazy so I took her to urgent care. The doctor told us that it was text book for what a black widow spider bite should look and gave her antibiotics and steroids.
Later Sunday night Allie Kate woke up throwing up every 5 minutes SUPER sick and saying crazy things and telling me her body was hurting and the pediatric nurse wanted us to go ahead and take her to the ER to make sure it wasn't the venom making her so sick...well after HOURS (and I do mean hours...we got there at 12am and didn't get out until 4am) of waiting it turns out she was just having a reaction to the antibiotic.

At urgent care

At the ER with her puke bag that she was NOT fond of

They switched her antibiotic and she was much better :)

A couple of days later she had her class field trip to the pumpkin patch and I got to go too :)
Allie Kate and her bestie Finley :)

They were SO excited to ride the bus and even though both me and Finley's momma were on the field trip they even insisted on riding it home, so we met them back at the school.

I have a feeling these two girls pester poor Collin! He loves Allie Kate so much but he's a boy and to them they think is "gross," that being said, Allie loves Collin and he is her favorite boy friend but they run from him and act silly :) but don't worry Collin is on Allie like white on rice...he was never more than a few feet behind her!

Sweet buddies :)

My little love :)

Yes...my child (and Collin haha) were the trouble makers climbing the fence! I am so impressed to see her with all her little friends! She is such a social butterfly and is so sweet and loving towards them :)

Boo at the zoo!! We took the girls this year and left Hudson with Heath's parents since it was cold and he doesn't care anyways :)
My little "Ah-ool" She absolutely LOVES her costume!

We met the Brooks family and ate before and also met up with Ami and Maci when we got to the zoo.

I love this little pirate :) And I love that she picked her own costume and it isn't at all what I would have thought she would have picked out :)

A puppy and a pirate

Double fisting it with the suckers
