Merry Christmas

I LOVE Christmas time!!! All things Christmas :) We had a great Christmas this year (our best one yet...I know I ALWAYS say that but it's true!)

Our first family Christmas was the Henley family party...

A few days before Christmas me, the kids, Julie and Olivia met my mom at our favorite restaurant Brios for a girls lunch :)

Christmas Eve we went to Nan and Pop's for lunch and presents with that side of the family...

And then one of my FAVORITE traditions is the candle light service with both sides of the family...this year was a little harder than some, mainly because Hudson is NEVER still and he was eating the candle BUT he survived and we went back to Nana's for some roast :)

Ava and Hudson passed out on the way from church to Nana's and Ava stayed passed out on the couch for about an hour and Hudson woke up ready to party :)

After Nana's house we headed home to get everything ready for Santa!! All the kids were tired and SO excited for Santa to come so everyone was in bed asleep but 8:15pm or so! And Santa did indeed come ;)

Christmas morning Ava and Allie Kate came running down the stairs about 6:45am and were SO excited about all their stuff! Hudson has been on a sleeping in kick and doesn't wake up until around 9:30am...so we enjoyed the girls seeing all their stuff and then opened presents with them (since they could never possibly wait 3 hours on their brother to open their presents HA!) And then when Hudson got up we got to see him get all his presents :)

They had so much fun playing with all their new stuff and Hudson was in hog heaven with all the new stuff to mess around with! 

Christmas morning after we open our presents and see what all Santa brought we always go to my mom's house for breakfast and have Christmas over there.

Christmas day was hot and we actually had tornado warnings so we came home and let the kids nap and then braved the floods to head to Gran and Papa's house to have Christmas with them Christmas night :)

They got to try out their new rain jackets Santa brought them :)
